Wall-hangings

Display out of sunlight. The only cleaning necessary should be the removal of dust – this can be achieved using the upholstery/curtain attachment on a vacuum cleaner, if possible on low power. If the wall-hanging has a fine gauzy surface, put a piece of muslin over the vacuum nozzle.
If packing or storing the wall-hanging – roll it loosely with the face outwards – this will stop unwanted creases forming.

Velvet and silk or linen appliqué cushions

Hand wash cover with care at 30C. Short spin then dry flat. Replace pad then smooth out nap of velvet with a cool iron. Please note – direct sunlight will fade the colours.

Quilted panel cushions

Hand wash cover with care at 30C. Short spin then dry flat. Do not iron quilted panel. Please note: exposure to direct sunlight will fade the colours.

Silk scarves

Hand wash in warm water, short spin, iron using damp cloth.
