Rainy Tree

Details:
Most of my wall-hangings are based on my surrounding landscape in Galloway, but this one is based on a little tree in a front garden in Edinburgh, which I don’t normally notice, but in the rain when the stonework behind it is wet, it really shines out. Dye-painted cotton, stencilled, quilted and stitched, with painted silk leaves. Velcro fastening to wooden battens at top and bottom.
